  1. Eli at full extension is a sight to behold! I hope Auggie has bulked up since this photo; he looks a downright puny in comparison!

  36. I grew up with a German Shepherd. They are such smart, kind, wonderful dogs! I still remember our Fritz, who was the smartest dog I’ve ever known. I’m glad your dog is recovering!

  50. It’s great knowing Auggie is on the mend and you have “helper” Eli in the kitchen. Please keep the photos coming. Also, have you checked out the Threads platform? It has a Twitter feel (easy to transition from Twitter; short learning curve) but civil. Like many others, I’ve abandoned “X”.
