A continuing tribute to Moses (with Pete!)

  1. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Although I suspect we all believe that for Pete and Moses, those roads eventually converged and they are companions once again.

  2. I recall coming home from a New Year’s Eve function in the early hours of 2020. Before going to bed, I checked my email and social media. You had a post which alluded to the passing of one of the pups. I thought for sure it was Pete as he was the oldest. I started to cry. I read on and saw that it was Moses. I was shocked! “How could this be? He was young, he was strong.” I cried some more and kept on crying, for you, your husband, for Auggie and most especially for Pete. Moses was Pete’s eyes and ears. How will Pete survive? I went to bed, laid my head on my pillow and cried myself to sleep.
