I was actually wondering how the turkeys were. My GSD encountered a skunk last night, so she had to sleep outside. The spray had to have been close to the back door, because it was just such a sharp stink. Ugh!
There is a fantastic product for skunks that I always keep on hand. It’s by Nature’s Miracle and you can find it at most pet stores or on Amazon. I also keep tomato paste on hand for around eyes and noses. It works.
This homemade mix works like a charm and BTW I use Dawn dish soap: 1 quart of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide (fresh bottle), • ¼ cup of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), and • 1-2 teaspoons of liquid dish soap.
