Beautiful photos both inside the house and out. I am amazed by a pensive dog looking at that collection of wildlife. If our dachshunds were in a position to look out a wi Dow and see that, no one in the neighborhood would be able to think with all the noise!
I so enjoy your postings and pictures of your “kids” and the surroundings that although other emails might languish, I want to open yours right away. But just an observation and maybe it’s my fault for not getting the process down BUT it’s seems very complicated to COMMENT on your posts. I seem to get rerouted to some publisher or something and then have to login which means they’ll either not know who I am just by my email account or prompt me to establish an account or I can’t recall whatever my password was for the last time I had to establish an account—it’s all just too much aggravation if all I wanted to do was say GoodMorning back to you in reply or wish you well. We originally met on Twitter before some lunatic added the X to it, ran off most of the sane people, and ruined a perfectly sound global means of communication. Anyway, love love love your posts and pics of your family, the weather up north, everything you write. Wish for a time when TwitterX or something better lets people of mostly goodwill just be people again without the fascism. Good Morning and hug the boys for all of us. Everyone please stay healthy and about the tote bags, share them with friends & neighbors so everyone can stuff them with old but in good repair bath towels to distribute to all the dog rescue organizations you can reach. Every homeless pup will get soft warm towels for their stay at the animal rescues while waiting to be adopted. Just an idea. Ingrid
I love your tote bag idea. I will think about how to implement it.
As to the comments: even I can’t comment without the app. I have tried even within the app to reply to other bloggers and the process would confound Kafka. I’m here until I figure out something better. Meanwhile, I’m pleased to hear you’re enjoying the posts. Welcome.
If you feed them, they will come! So wonderful to see all the wildlife in your yard. We have birds, squirrels, and chipmunks to feed daily. In this frigid weather, they show up regularly to fill-up.
How beautiful! Was the one legged turkey able to partake in the feast this morning?

And that is the peace and beauty of nature. Many, many thanks for the photos. They are very good for the soul in these trying times.

Beautiful. Today I have a very difficult business meeting. I’m feeling the stress.
Then I saw “Sweet, pensive Auggie” and felt his calming presence.
Thank you.
